Building next week's rota

Last edited by Maria Lund · 2 Oct 2026

Managers build the rota in Shiftmoss every Thursday. Start from last week and fix what Shiftmoss flags before you publish.

Steps

Open Shiftmoss and go to Rota.
Pick next week and click Copy last week.
Fill every open shift Shiftmoss flags, for example someone on holiday.
Check that nobody goes over their contract hours.
Click Publish rota. Everyone gets their shifts in the app and by email.

Tip: publish by Thursday so staff can plan their week.
